Bohumir Kryl

Description:
Bohumir Kryl (1875 - 1961) was a Czech cornetist who began his career doing sculpture in Chicago and Indianapolis. He turned to music full-time when he joined John Philip Sousa's band in 1894. He later formed his own band which made numerous tours and recordings. Kryl was an amazing cornet soloist. One of his favorite compositions for cornet was King Carneval. It is a tour-de-force showpiece with much flair and technical display. Cornet and piano parts included. Available as a download only. Difficulty Level: V-
